We will go into the three methods of appraisal values (sales comparison, cost and income) and how they may apply to different types of vessels. This will include a discussion of using marine "blue books" and what method they fall under.

We will go into USPAP and those items necessary to include in development of an appraisal and a report based upon parts 7 & 8 of the current USPAP.

The discussion will include commonly seen "red flags" when doing an appraisal review on another appraisal report.

We will include redacted report examples of compliant, and non-compliant reports.

We will discuss what non-appraisal professionals (adjusters, underwriters and attorneys) should look for in a survey and/or appraisal report.
